The Powertrain Limited Warranty applies to all preowned certified non-commercial vehicles.

How long does the Powertrain Warranty last?

The Powertrain Limited Warranty is valid for 3 months or 3,000 miles – whichever comes first.

How much extra does the warranty it cost?

The Powertrain Limited Warranty is provided at no additional cost with your preowned certified vehicle purchase. You will be required to pay a $100 deductible for each covered repair.

Do I have to have all vehicle service completed at Alexander Automotive Group

No, although we hope you do. Our Certified and Master Certified technicians are trained to help your vehicle running at its best. Keep in mind, to maintain the warranty, you must perform the

manufacturer’s recommended maintenance and keep your records.

What is covered under the Powertrain Limited Warranty?

The Powertrain Limited Warranty helps pay to repair or replace any covered powertrain component that fails during the warranty period. Component parts covered include:

Gas/Hybrid Vehicles

Engine

Gasoline engine: all internally lubricated parts including pistons, connecting rods and rod bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft, cam chains, timing chain, gears, tensioner and guide, variable valve timing parts, rocker arms, rocker arm pivots, valves, valve seats, valve springs, valve spring retainers, valve guides, valve push rods, hydraulic valve lifters, oil pump, oil pump drive, shaft and gears. Plus, these non-internally lubricated parts: water pump, fuel pump, valve covers, oil pan, timing belt, timing chain/belt cover, engine mounts, flywheel, flex plate, harmonic balancer, belt tensioner and idler pulley(s), intake and exhaust manifolds. Factory- installed supercharger/turbocharger. Seals, gaskets, and fluids.* Cylinder head, engine block, and rotor housings.**

Diesel engine: all the above parts plus diesel fuel injection pump, fuel injectors, fuel lines.

Additional hybrid parts: electric drive motor

Transmission

Automatic transmission: all internally lubricated parts, including bands, pump, pump housing, carrier assembly, planetary gears, drums, reaction shaft and governor, valve body, servo assemblies. Plus, these non-internally lubricated parts: torque converter, transmission mount(s), oil pan. Seals, gaskets, and fluids.* Transmission case.**

Manual transmission: all internally lubricated parts including main shaft, center shaft, all gears, input shaft, hub assemblies, synchronizers, shift rails, shift forks, and bearings. Plus, these non-

Transfer Case

All internally lubricated parts contained within the transfer case. Plus, these non-internally lubricated parts: Electronic and vacuum engagement parts, four-wheel drive automatic/semi- automatic, and manually operated hub assemblies. Seals, gaskets, and fluids.* Transfer case housing.**

Drive Axle

All internally lubricated parts, including bearings, gears, thrust washers and spacers, limited slip posi-traction rear and front axle assemblies. Plus, the following parts: axle shafts, axle bearings, constant velocity joints and boots, universal joints and center support bearing. Seals, gaskets, and fluids.* Final drive housing.**

Electric Vehicles

Your warranty provides coverage for the following component parts:

EV Drive Systems/Transmission

Electric drive motor/generator and all internal parts; electric drive

motor dampener, electric drive motor mounts, and electric drive motor coolant pump. Electric drive motor case.**

Drive Axle

All internally lubricated parts, including bearings, gears, thrust washers and spacers, limited slip posi-traction rear and front axle assemblies. Plus, the following parts: axle shafts, axle bearings, constant velocity joints and boots, universal joints and center support bearing. Seals, gaskets, and fluids.* Final drive housing.**

EV Gear Reduction/Reducer Box/Transfer Case

All internally lubricated parts, EV gear reduction/reducer box/transfer case mount, coolant pump, cover and oil pan. Gear reduction/reducer box housing and transfer case housing. **

If I sell the car does the Powertrain Limited Warranty transfer to the new owner?

No, the Powertrain Limited Warranty is not transferable. If you get it from us, it’s good for as long as you own the vehicle. 

Who backs the Powertrain Limited Warranty?

Administrative services for Powertrain Limited Warranty are provided by Universal Underwriters Service Corporation (UUSC) and backed by an insurance policy issued by Universal Underwriters Insurance Company (UUIC), individual member companies of Zurich in North America. FL License #60132.

Universal Underwriters Service Corporation is also the issuing provider and administrator of Zurich’s vehicle service contracts in all states except Florida. In Florida, the issuing provider and administrator is Vehicle Dealer Solutions (FL License #60132). In California and New York, UUSC operates under its DBA, UUSC Service Company(CA License #0C17302).
