The Tacoma TRD Pro’s off-road performance all starts under the hood. Toyota has equipped the special truck with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. This engine gives drivers access to 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to all four-wheels via either an automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.
The Tacoma TRD Pro checks in at the top of the truck’s trim level lineup. This means the truck is equipped with all of the best safety features Toyota has to offer. This includes a rearview camera, rear parking assist, rear cross-traffic alerts, blind spot monitoring and a special tire pressure monitoring system.
Toyota will be offering the 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro in three classic color options: Cement, Barcelona Red Metallic and Super White.
