Summer is arguably the best time of the year. For kids, it means you have a few months off from school. For adults, it means there is more time to hang out and have fun. Barbeques, cookouts, tailgating, and anything else is all available to do.
There is just so much time to go out and have a little bit of fun. Summer also has one of the best holidays in the world, the Fourth of July. A lot of fun events are planned around America’s birthday. There are always big events and Yuma is no different. We’ll tell you all of the events happening around the Yuma area.
Fourth of July Events in Yuma, AZ
The city of Yuma is holding its fifth annual All-American BBQ And Fireworks Spectacular. There will be water features, balloon challenges, and even some eating contests. Waterslides and a splash zone with the Yuma Fire Department’s water cannon will provide a lot of fun for kids of any age. At the end of the night, there will be a 20-minute fireworks show to cap everything off. Folks are encouraged to bring along non-perishable food to help support the Yuma Community Food Bank. At the door, it will cost $1 per person to get in, but children 3 and younger will get in for free. The event will take place at the Ray Kroc Complex.
