pre-collision system with pedestrian detection

Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection

There are been multiple advancements to this feature. Now it is possible for the system to detect a preceding bicyclist in daytime and even a preceding pedestrian in low-light conditions. Additional functions in this system include emergency steering assist which is created to help the driver avoid any preceding pedestrian, bicyclist or vehicle.

dynamic radar cruise control

Full-Speed Radar Cruise Control

This feature activates above 30 mph and is designed to perform vehicle to vehicle distance controls down to zero miles per hour then the vehicle will resume from a stop. If the vehicle is driving slower than the preset speed, once the driver turns on the sign light and starts the turn, the system will start to accelerate. Once the lanes have been changed, the system will continue to increase until the preset speed is reached.

lane departure alert

Lane Departure Alert

The Lane Departure Alert is designed to alert the driver via steering wheel vibration or audible alert when it senses the vehicle leaving the lane without a turn signal. When engaged, the system will assist the driver by providing a slight steering force to help center the vehicle.

Additional TSS 2.5+ features

Other features in the TSS 2.5+ system includes Automatic High Beams, which automatically switches between high beam and low beam headlights when a preceding vehicle is detected and Road Sign Assist, which uses a forward facing camera to recognize road signs
